Lionmenus.com first launched in the spring of 2003. Four Penn State students, Justin Goldman, Chris Jeffery, David Laiderman and Jason Kwicien began the site with the goal of providing students and local residents with one complete online food resource.

To this end, they began by posting online the menus and phone numbers of nearly every restaurant in State College, making it the single most comprehensive dining guide available. Lionmenus.com quickly became popular because it allowed users to quickly browse through all of their dining options. A common complaint, however, was that many restaurants often had busy signals and delivered orders without the specifications requested. Within months, Lionmenus.com gave users the capability to place all of their orders online, alleviating both the time consumption and error once associated with food delivery.

As Lionmenus continued to expand, and the founders turned 21, they realized that the community had no reliable way of obtaining daily bar specials and entertainment. Once again the owners of Lionmenus worked hard to adapt the site and remedy this situation; thereby creating a resource that now satisfies any and all of your eating and drinking needs.

In addition, the Lionmenus owners, knowing first hand that students are always low on cash, have teamed up with many local hot spots to provide exclusive specials found only on Lionmenus.com.

During the 2004/2005 semester, Lionmenus.com averaged over 2,000 unique visitors per day, making it the #1 online menu guide in State College. The Lionmenus team wants to thank all of the loyal users from the past two years and will continue to strive for superior service and customer satisfaction each and every day.
